We are seeking a skilled Assistant Finance Business Partner to support our organisation in achieving effective financial management. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, starting from December 24, with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
The RoleAs an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Finance Business Partner and be responsible for supporting the business to achieve financial management goals. You will work closely with the business to provide relevant financial information and add value using financial analysis.
- Assist in preparing the monthly Management Accounts, including journals, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Perform income reconciliations.
- Work closely with budget holders to monitor their financial performance.
- Assist in the year-end process and deal with audit queries.
We are looking for someone with finance experience, possibly studying currently or just finished studying. Ideally, you will have a background in the charity sector, social housing, or the care sector.
