Hours: 35 hours per week
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role will involve hybrid working from our office in Gateshead for 2 days and working from home for 3 days.
The RoleAs an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Finance Business Partner and be responsible for supporting the business to achieve effective financial management. You will work closely with the business to provide relevant financial information and add value using financial analysis.
- Assisting in preparing the monthly Management Accounts - journals, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Income reconciliations.
- Working closely with budget holders and helping them monitor their financial performance.
- Assisting in the year-end process and dealing with audit queries.
We are looking for someone with finance experience, possibly studying currently or just finished studying. Ideally, someone with a charity sector background or experience working in social housing or the care sector.
