Group Accounting Manager

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Aveva group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Collaborate with the finance operations team, regional heads of finance, and internal audit to improve financial reporting processes and controls.
  • Develop and implement new structures, processes, and controls to drive operational effectiveness, balancing accuracy, timeliness, and control.
  • Support the external audit process, interacting with the audit team and providing relevant documentation.
  • Ensure that all consolidation adjustments are calculated accurately and documented to an auditable standard.
  • Provide guidance and support to controllers to help achieve reporting deadlines and ensure compliance with group policies.

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification or similar.
  • Desirable experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
