Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Group Finance team at Abcam. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reporting disclosures for subsidiary financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to prepare for external audits and internal reviews, providing detailed financial information and analysis.
- Coordinate month-end consolidation and close activities, ensuring seamless integration of financial data across group entities.
- Manage accounting for leases across group entities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Submit monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the parent company, providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance teams and management, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
- Experience working in large multinational businesses, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
