Job Title: Assistant Professor in Psychology in Education

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Professor in Psychology in Education to join our team at the University of Birmingham. As a key member of our academic community, you will contribute to the development and delivery of teaching and research programs in psychology and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching programs in psychology and education, including course development and assessment.
  • Conduct and publish research in psychology and education, with a focus on quantitative research methods, anxiety and education, and individual differences.
  • Contribute to the administration and management of research and teaching programs, including leading and managing a team.
  • Develop and advise on learning and teaching tasks and methods, and provide expert advice to staff and students.
  • Supervise and examine PhD students, and develop and advise on research projects.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Extensive research and teaching experience, with a strong track record of publication and teaching excellence.
  • Proven ability to devise, advise on, and manage learning and research programs.
  • Skills in managing, motivating, and mentoring others successfully at all levels.
