Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. As a Reactive Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fire and security systems, ensuring high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire and security systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire and security equipment to prevent potential problems and reduce downtime.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss their needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including parts used and time taken.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines while working on-site.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, providing emergency support to clients as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, particularly in a reactive maintenance role.
  • Good knowledge of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire detection.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical or fire and security engineering (e.g., FIA, BAFE, or equivalent).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and repair faults.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
