The Sterling Choice Ltd is a growing company with a great opportunity for an electrical engineer or electrically biased maintenance engineer to join our site. As an electrical engineer/maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, as well as getting involved in project and improvement work on site.

About the Job

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a varied and challenging position that involves working on electrical engineering projects. You will have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements covering both processes and machine output.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Proactive maintenance and site PMs
  • Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
  • Working on engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
  • Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output
  • Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation on site
  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical subject
  • Experience working in a maintenance engineer or electrical engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
  • Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
