Electrical Shift Technician Vacancy

We are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to fill the role of Electrical Shift Technician at our Liverpool port facility. About the Role:

  • Ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced equipment, including cranes, CRMGs, and Straddle Carriers.
  • Performing reactive and planned maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Addressing machine breakdowns promptly and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Delivering safe systems of work by following SOPs and conducting risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • A strong engineering background with an electrical bias.
  • Experience in PLC fault finding, diagnosing AC/DC motors, and working with variable speed controllers.
  • An understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.
  • Prior experience with container handling equipment (like cranes).
