Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking an experienced electrically qualified Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes Demag UK Ltd. Based in the Warrington, Liverpool or Manchester areas, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electric overhead travelling cranes.
The successful candidate will have a competitive base salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, paid travel time, generous overtime and double time at weekends, call out payment, and access to various employee benefits.
About the RoleAs a Service Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, consult with customers on repair and safety related issues, and complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
You will report to the Operations Manager and work within the department of Industrial Service, offering maintenance and service solutions for all crane brands.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair electric overhead travelling cranes
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
- Complete documentation through your mobile device
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in electrical engineering disciplines
- Mechanical knowledge
- Health and Safety knowledge
- Experience maintaining overhead cranes and hoists
- Able to work at heights and climb ladders
- Willingness to work extra hours, attracting paid overtime
- Current driving license
- Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium
