BSL Interpreter for NHS Scotland

NHS Scotland is seeking a qualified BSL interpreter to provide a professional interpretation service in healthcare settings.
The ideal candidate will be registered with either the SRLPDC or the NRCPD and possess relevant experience in public sector, advocacy, or legal environments.
As a sessional interpreter, you will work in various settings, including hospitals, health centres, clinics, and patient homes, requiring empathy, confidentiality, and excellent interpersonal skills.
NHS Scotland is committed to promoting equality and diversity among its workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
The successful candidate will be fluent in British Sign Language and able to interpret with consistency and accuracy between patients and staff.
