About the Role
Care in Mind is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our residential services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in planning and implementing care plans for our young people
- Conduct regular supervisions with staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of our young people
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and retention of staff
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure our young people receive the best possible support
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a residential setting
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Excellent understanding of mental health and the issues young people face
- Full clean driving license and access to a car for work purposes
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wider multi-disciplinary team
