About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering project objectives and team deliverables by planning project activities and executing assigned tasks within expected quality standards.

This position will be based onsite in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environment
  • Experience of working within the oil and gas industry
  • Understanding of Project Online
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project planning and execution skills
  • Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints
  • Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyse project performance
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles including Waterfall or Agile
Technical Requirements
  • Experience of delivering security solutions and services focused projects with a good understanding of security principles and Cyber risks
  • Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essential)
  • Familiarity of network security, cloud security, and systems architecture, current and upcoming Cyber compliance requirements (NIS, GDPR)
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IS projects, following the agreed IS project delivery framework
  • Project estimation for budget and resourcing
  • Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
  • May be required to provide out-of-hours support via an on-call rota
