We are recruiting for an Operational Maintenance Technician to join our team at Red Rock Consultants Ltd in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a dynamic company and contribute to the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with a good understanding of health and safety legislation. A qualification in plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems is highly desirable, as well as previous experience in domestic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and decorating.
  • To respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • To oversee planned maintenance activities, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and fire extinguisher inspections.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of H&S legislation.
  • To be qualified in either plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems is desirable.
  • Previous experience of domestic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Salary: £32,500 - £42,000 per annum. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am to 5pm on a rota basis.
