About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Test Infrastructure Engineer to join our Test and Facilities Hardware team at BAE Systems (New). As a Test Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test infrastructure and hardware for electrical/electronic communication & control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test infrastructure and hardware for electrical/electronic communication & control systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that test infrastructure meets customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for test infrastructure and hardware
  • Participate in design reviews and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc PLCs is desirable

What We Offer:

As a Test Infrastructure Engineer at BAE Systems (New), you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. You will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, employee share plans, and flexible working arrangements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience, and a good understanding of electrical/electronic communication & control systems. Familiarity with test and acceptance processes within a high assurance engineering environment is also desirable.
