About the Role

Job Summary

At abrdn, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Resource Planning Analyst to join our Adviser Vector team. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning of our operational, customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse data to identify trends and provide recommendations to positively impact our deliverables.
  • Proactively plan resources strategically using historical data.
  • Ensure sufficient resources in each area based on historical data.
  • Complete 'what if' assessments to understand the impact of changing requirements on the customer-facing teams.
  • Understand movements in operational FTE, joiner/movers/leavers, and the impact on service.
  • Showcase simplified plans to engage a senior audience through written and verbal presentations.
  • Lead meetings with various levels and groups of colleagues up to Head of Function level.

Requirements

  • Excellent Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Understanding of key Resource Planning fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of statistics & analytics and workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of WFM systems and Telephony products desired (AWS Connect, Verint).
  • Ability to interpret data.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

  • You are able to take ownership of your work, ensuring that it aligns with organisational objectives and quality standards.
