Job Title:

Paediatric Care Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paediatric Care Leader to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the team on a shift-by-shift basis, utilising your clinical expertise and acting as a positive role model within the department.

You will be supported by our enthusiastic Children's Nursing Team, Nurse Educator Specialist Nurses, and medical staff, offering you excellent learning and development opportunities. A tailor-made personal and professional development plan will be provided to support your career development within this exciting new role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with the medical workforce and multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to all children and young people who access the service.
  • Develop into the role with the support of the Nurse educators and experienced Ward Sisters.
  • A robust preceptorship and ongoing competencies will be implemented to support successful candidates.
  • You will be working in a friendly and compassionate team and will be supported to continuously develop.
Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Children's Nurse (level 1 or 2)
  • Evidence of continued professional development and implementation in clinical practice within the last 12 months
Estimated Salary:

£38,690 - £44,884 per annum
