We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at Rotherwood Education. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to a class of primary-age pupils, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach all areas of the primary curriculum, catering to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
- Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Organize the classroom and learning resources, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Plan, prepare, and present lessons that motivate pupils and promote their learning.
- Maintain discipline and create a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- Prepare and mark work to facilitate positive pupil development and meet assessment and recording requirements.
- Provide feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings.
- Possess a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks.
