We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mathematics Educator to join our small secondary provision in a specialist setting. This unique environment caters to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, past trauma, and anxiety. If you are passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives and can bring strong behaviour management, patience, and a good sense of humour to the role, we want to hear from you.

Key Details:
  • Location: A specialist setting
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Contract: Temporary to permanent
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to students' individual needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively while fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with students to help them overcome emotional and academic barriers
  • Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team to provide a safe and inclusive space for students
Requirements:
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A sense of humour, patience, and the ability to connect with students
  • Empathy and resilience in working with students who have experienced trauma or anxiety
