About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a SEN school in the North West. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for providing support to pupils with SEMH needs and helping them develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEMH needs
  • Help pupils develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous KS2, KS3, and KS4 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Current DBS registration or willingness to apply

Salary and Benefits:
