Secure Services - Psychological Rehabilitation Lead

Sanctuary Personnel is excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a qualified Forensic Psychologist to join our client's team in a key leadership role. As a senior member of the prison psychology team, you will play a crucial part in shaping the delivery of rehabilitative services across the UK.

About the Job
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality, psychologically informed programmes to address the complex needs of prisoners, working closely with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery and coordination.
  • Your role will involve supervising and mentoring less-experienced psychologists, providing guidance and support to ensure they achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and implementation of Offending Behaviour Programmes (OBP), working closely with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  2. Supervise and mentor Forensic Psychologists in Training, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional development.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on complex case formulations and intervention planning, drawing on your extensive knowledge and experience of forensic psychology.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance the quality of care provided.
  5. Deliver training sessions on best practices in managing challenging behaviours and complex case formulations, sharing your expertise with colleagues to promote excellence in practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist
  • Proven experience working in the field of forensic psychology, preferably in a similar leadership role.

The estimated salary for this role is £58,000 per annum, based on experience.
