Role Summary
Citi's Commodities Markets Quantitative Analysis team is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join the front office Commodities Quant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytics libraries, creating and implementing quantitative models, and working closely with control functions to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop analytics libraries used for pricing and risk-management
- Create, implement, and support quantitative models for the trading business leveraging a wide variety of mathematical and computer science methods and tools
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions
Requirements
- Comparable experience in a quantitative modeling or analytics role, ideally in the financial sector
- Technical/programming skills in C++ and Python
- Exposure to Market Data and experience in statistics and probability based calculations
- Ability to use probability theory to evaluate the risks of complex financial instruments
- Masters/PhD, or equivalent degree
