Commodity Quant Analyst

Our client, a leading Investment Bank, is seeking a skilled Commodity Quant Analyst to support their commodity trading business. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with traders to develop and implement quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and trading strategies in the commodities markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced quantitative models for commodities pricing and risk management.
  • Collaborate with traders and risk managers to develop and implement trading strategies.
  • Build and maintain end-user tools in Python to provide user-friendly interfaces for in-house analytics models and machine learning tools.
  • Engage with external organizations to help them understand and utilize front-office analytics models.
Requirements:
  • Advanced university degree in a STEM subject.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in front office positions.
  • Previous experience with metals products and models is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in software development using Python, C#, C++, and/or.NET.
