Senior Drainage Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled drainage engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen.

About the Role

As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality drainage designs and solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our design teams to develop and assess drainage designs using industry-standard software, and will be responsible for ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and assess drainage designs using industry-standard software
  • Work closely with design teams to deliver high-quality drainage solutions
  • Ensure that all designs meet the required standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
  • Contribute to the development of our drainage design capabilities and expertise
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography, or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc
  • Technical experience in UK drainage standards, including SuDS
  • Experience of developing and assessing drainage designs using industry-standard software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
