Drainage Engineer - Senior/Principal

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £35k - 50k

Type: Permanent

Flagship Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. Due to an increase in workload, we require a Senior or Principal level professional with substantial drainage design experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drainage design, with experience in highways, civil, residential, or commercial schemes. Proficiency in design software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils3D, including integration with BIM models, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop drainage systems for various projects.
  2. Apply knowledge of DMRB and Sewers for Adoption standards for drainage design.
  3. Utilize software design methods such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils3D, including integration with BIM models.
  4. Apply fundamental hydraulic design principles and manual calculation methods where software methods are not available.
  5. Contribute to flood modeling of overland flow and its application in highways projects.
  6. Develop and maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues.
