About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Support Specialist to join our Collections team in Library and Learning Services. This role will support the delivery of library services to users and contribute to the functional operation of the library.

The successful candidate will provide support for various areas, including the acquisition and maintenance of library stock, the delivery of interlibrary loans, and the administration of electronic resources subscriptions.

As part of the University Archive team, you will assist in the operation and supervision of specialist collections. Your strong communication skills and ability to work independently will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and external partners.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with good IT literacy and sound numerical skills.

A knowledge of working in an academic library environment is desirable but not required. We encourage applications from individuals who can demonstrate their ability to adapt to a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and opportunities for career development and growth within the organization.
