Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our operations team as a Logistics Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation of bookings and optimizing the productivity of our driver network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement booking allocation strategies to meet business objectives
  • Process bookings from various channels, from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Communicate effectively with customers and drivers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Liaise with colleagues and drivers to optimize operations and enhance the overall business performance
  • Represent Green Tomato Cars in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-volume, private hire or taxi operator environment (or comparable industry experience)
  • Proven ability to coordinate and control busy operations, ensuring seamless execution
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy, with experience of Echo operating system a plus

Working Conditions

This is an office-based role, requiring the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. A reliable means of transportation or willingness to use public transport is essential. The working hours will be 4-on 4-off or equivalent, or a weekly shift for an outstanding candidate.

Compensation

The salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, plus a bonus structure that rewards exceptional performance.
