As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail operation of our magical Christmas experience, ensuring that our retail stores are fully staffed and stocked, and that our teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Event Planning: Be fully aware of current retail strategies, including product, visual merchandising, and sales forecasts, prior to site launch.
- Event Operations: Ensure all retail departments' set-up or closing duties at the beginning/end of daily operations are complete, and that cleaning, stock levels, and visual merchandising standards have been adhered to.
- Guest Experience: Ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery, following LaplandUK operating procedures and sequence of service.
- HR: Train team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met. Maintain and improve the morale of Retail Elves during the event.
- Loss Prevention: Ensure any stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimised and properly accounted for alongside the Warehouse Manager.
- Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Lead by example as a strong operational, hands-on, role model.
- Bright and articulate, with the ability to influence and engage other members of the team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
