Key Responsibilities- Deliver strategic actuarial pensions advice to clients, focusing on defined benefit pension schemes in the public sector and private sector.
- Work closely with senior team members to provide comprehensive advice on pension due diligence, strategic funding, and compliance with DB funding code.
- Conduct pension valuations, roll forward methodologies, and LGPS funding methodologies to provide accurate and reliable advice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Experience in pensions actuarial at a Big 4 firm or employee benefit consultancy.
- Strong understanding of defined benefit pension scheme valuations, roll forward methodologies, LGPS funding methodologies, and actuarial techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex technical statistical information.
