Highly Skilled Fire and Security Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Specialist to join our team at EMCOR UK. This is a permanent mobile position, covering South M25 and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to CCTV, access control, security systems and automatic fire comprising of both internal and external clients.
- Provide support to both on-site engineers and clients.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities, upgrades, and system repairs.
- Prepare dilapidation reports and advise or recommend improvement, additions or reductions.
- Design, support, and quotation delivery in accordance with relevant British Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years previous experience of servicing, maintaining, and installation of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems, intercom systems, and fire systems.
- Multidisciplined background in Fire and Security or strong engineer in one discipline willing to cross-train.
- Adequate knowledge of relevant British Standards with a working knowledge of NSI and LPCB required standards.
- Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills with the ability to resolve by elimination and/or technical recommendations.

Requirements:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement a program of works or PPM schedule, and team / self-delivery to deadline timescales.
- Understanding of asset collation and controlled program of just in time replacement.
