About the Role
Smart Recruit IT seeks an experienced Service Support Manager to join its team. As the Service Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality support services to customers. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement formal problem management and change control systems to ensure efficient incident resolution and minimize downtime
- Work closely with the Service Desk to communicate effectively with stakeholders and users regarding service complaints, performance, and issue updates
- Direct and manage the activities of the support team, focusing on delivering exceptional support services across key business-critical applications
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven project management experience with IT changes
- Excellent communication skills to maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations
- Service Management Method and reporting processes expertise
- IT Systems experience, preferably with Windows / Client Systems
- Demonstrable project management experience (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
- Experience in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Benefits and Salary
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + Company Benefits and a permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
