Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team at easyJet Airline Company PLC. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and analysis services to support the delivery of business solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are thoroughly understood.
  2. Conduct structured analysis to elicit, model, and define capability gaps.
  3. Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and define all requirement types using appropriate techniques.
  4. Ensure technical delivery teams understand business needs and requirements.
  5. Train and mentor less experienced BSA members of the team.
  6. Be a role model and champion the team's ways of working.
  7. Provide analysis leading to BAU/Enhancements of existing systems.
  8. Underpinning incident support through root cause analysis.
  9. Work with technical product owners to provide ad-hoc analysis.
  10. Supply SME knowledge and resources to enterprise projects.
Requirements
  1. Technical knowledge and experience from working as a Programmer or database admin type roles.
  2. Practical experience in Business Analysis.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  4. Manage a team of BSA's within a project environment.
  5. Be comfortable taking on larger and more complex projects.
  6. A strong track record in delivering quality analysis outputs.
  7. Experience of both waterfall and agile approaches to requirements analysis and documentation.
  8. Excellent relationship management skills.
  9. Excellent communicator, skilled in workshop facilitation.
  10. Ability to broker/facilitate pragmatic solutions amongst stakeholders.
