Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Join our team at easyJet as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, where you will play a key role in providing technical expertise to support the delivery of business systems and solutions.

About the Role

The Customer Platforms Technical Systems Team at easyJet provides solutions used by customers throughout their journey. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities, assessing the impact of changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements, and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are thoroughly understood.
  • Conduct structured analysis to elicit, model, and define capability gaps using known techniques.
  • Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and define all requirement types using appropriate techniques.
  • Ensure technical delivery teams understand business needs and requirements, including their priority.
  • Train and mentor less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
  • Be a role model and champion the team's ways of working both internally and externally.
  • Participate in a quick response capability for system process analysis.
  • Provide analysis leading to BAU/enhancements of existing systems.
  • Underpin incident support through root cause analysis.
  • Work with technical product owners to provide ad-hoc analysis.
  • Supply SME knowledge and resources to enterprise projects.
Requirements
  • Technical knowledge and experience from working as a programmer or database admin type roles.
  • Practical experience in Business Analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Manage a team of Business Systems Analysts within a project environment.
  • Be comfortable taking on larger and more complex projects.
  • A strong track record in delivering quality analysis outputs that help ensure delivery of projects to cost, time, and quality.
  • Experience of both waterfall and agile approaches to requirements analysis and documentation.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with significant experience of dealing with internal, external, and third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent communicator, skilled in workshop facilitation, with the ability to challenge conventional thinking and understand the root causes of problems.
  • Ability to broker/facilitate pragmatic solutions amongst stakeholders with competing business needs.
