About the Role

  • Lead a team of teachers, support staff, and other professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement innovative educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and local authorities to ensure the school's provision meets the needs of the community.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies that promote student well-being, safety, and achievement.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure efficient use of school funds and optimize student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a school leader or manager with a track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, including autism and EHCPs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and local authorities.
  • Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations.
