We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Learning Support Professional to join our team at Principal Education.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Maths and English tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as part of our Functional Skills programmes.

\

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with SEN and learning disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our students gain confidence and social support alongside nationally recognised qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

\
  • Deliver high-quality Maths and English tuition to students with SEN\
  • Work closely with our teachers and support staff to provide tailored learning plans\
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly\
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support\
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Functional Skills programmes\
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in teaching or supporting students with SEN\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable students\
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of our students
