Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with Autism, fostering a motivating and engaging learning environment.
  2. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to set targets and develop strategies to meet the pupil's individual needs.
  3. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the pupil's unique abilities and requirements.
  4. Support the pupil's social and emotional development, promoting confidence and independence.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  1. A proven track record of working with children with special needs, preferably in a primary school setting.
  2. A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of Autism and effective strategies for supporting children with additional needs.
  4. A commitment to promoting inclusion and helping every child succeed.
