Job Title: Plant Chief Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Chief Mechanic to join our team at Danny Sullivan Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, monitoring, and execution of preventative maintenance (PPM) and running repairs for specialist mechanical and electrical equipment used in precast yards and viaduct plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planning, monitoring, and execution of PPM and running repairs for specialist mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
  • Identify and arrange training for team members as required.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Establish and maintain key supplier relationships for spare parts, on-site technical services, and consumables.
  • Manage the budget for maintenance activities and set targets and KPIs in line with budget forecasts.
  • Procure subcontractors and advise on commercial aspects and preferred attendances.
  • Identify and report any claiming situations with supporting information.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in precast factory plant maintenance.
  • Mechanical plant qualification.
  • Strong background in plant maintenance, particularly within the construction or precast sector.
