**Job Summary:**

The University of Cambridge seeks a highly motivated Academic Research Fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of biological sciences, working closely with experts in computational biology and interacting with collaborating groups at Harvard University, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, and the MRC-WT Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.

**About the Role:**

We are looking for a researcher with a PhD or MD in biological or medical sciences and practical experience with stem cell or cell-line cultures, general cell and molecular biology methods, vector preparation, and cloning. The ideal candidate will have experience in one of the following areas: human stem cell- or organoid-based cultures, genetics and CRISPR-editing, single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, or molecular pathology expertise.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct research in the field of biological sciences
  • Work with experts in computational biology
  • Interact with collaborating groups at leading institutions

**What We Offer:

The University of Cambridge offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.

Estimated Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
