Lancaster University is a world-class institution dedicated to delivering high-quality education and research. We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Coordinator Team Leader to join our Pre-sessional English team.
The role involves providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team to ensure academic standards are maintained and the programs are delivered effectively. This includes ensuring teaching and learning of the highest quality, design, production, and delivery of English language assessments using digital platforms, recruitment and selection of temporary academic coordinators and tutors, as well as providing feedback and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure academic standards are maintained
- Ensure teaching and learning of the highest quality
- Design, produce, and deliver English language assessments using digital platforms
- Recruit and select temporary academic coordinators and tutors
- Provide feedback and support to team members
Requirements
- TESOL/CELTA qualifications with recent experience of teaching English for Academic Purposes
- Postgraduate teaching qualifications (MA TESOL or DELTA)
- In-depth knowledge of English language testing and experience of designing and administering English language exams
- Coordination or management experience, along with experience of teaching international students
Salary and Benefits
