Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to support children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs.
About the Role:
- Support children with behaviour and mental health issues in a specialist school setting
- Work alongside trained therapists and psychologists to develop therapeutic relationships with children
- Assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions and support plans
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment to ensure the highest quality of care and child-centred support
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or experience in a related field (Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, etc.)
- Ability to work with children aged 4-11 with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative environment
