Maternal Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Maternal Mental Health Service team. As a specialist in perinatal mental health, you will provide expert psychological assessment and therapy to women experiencing mental health needs during and after pregnancy.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients referred to the service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist psychological advice and consultation on formulation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, aligning with the NHS Long Term Plan and recommendations from the Birth Trauma Enquiry.
- Provide clinical supervision to psychological therapies colleagues and practitioners from other clinical backgrounds.
