Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Maternal Mental Health Service team. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women with mental health needs during and after pregnancy.

About the Role

As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face 1:1 and group interventions to women with mental health needs. You will also provide supervision and consultation relating to psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing service development of our Perinatal Mental Health Team as part of the Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women with mental health needs during and after pregnancy.
  • Provide face-to-face 1:1 and group interventions.
  • Supervise and consult relating to psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing service development of our Perinatal Mental Health Team as part of the Leadership Team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Clinical/Counselling Psychology qualification and relevant experience in community mental health. You will also need to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
