The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Interim Strategic Estates Manager to join a public sector organisation in East Sussex. This is a challenging opportunity to lead the development of an estates strategy, workplace strategy, and decarbonisation programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an estates strategy, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and sustainability goals.
- Deliver estates capital programmes, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Manage the organisation's estate, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present governance documentation for capital project delivery, adhering to RIBA Plan of Works and internal PMO procedures.
- Available to start at short notice.
- Willingness to travel to site as required.
- Relevant education in architecture, surveying, engineering, or construction.
- Working towards or full membership of a professional body such as RICS, CIOB, or RIBA.
- Proven experience in strategic estates management, preferably in the public sector.
