Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Person to join our team at Aspion. This role is responsible for managing inventory, processing goods in and out, fulfilling orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a stores or warehouse setting, preferably in the electrical engineering or manufacturing sectors. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and organize materials and equipment effectively.
  • Goods In/Out: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, handle outgoing goods efficiently, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue parts and components to production teams based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inventory, deliveries, and discrepancies using stock management software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels, identify reordering needs, and alert the purchasing team accordingly.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stores environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
About You
  • Experience: Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, ideally in electrical engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical components is highly beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and physical stamina to lift and move materials as required.
  • Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
