Manufacturing Training Specialist

The Recruitment Co. is recruiting for a Manufacturing Training Specialist to support the training and development of the welding team at our client's engineering manufacturing business in Daventry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective training programs, providing technical guidance and expertise to internal departments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering training programs for the welding team
- Conducting assessments and appraisals of welders
- Providing technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures
- Analysing high rates of weld repairs and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Managing audit systems related to weld quality and internal auditing
Requirements:
- CSWIP certification
- Competent knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 15614-1 & 5817
- Fabrication welding experience both MIG and TIG
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in order to lay out a welding project
A competitive salary of £38,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience) is being offered for this permanent position.
