Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.
Job Summary:
- Perform cost analyses for sub-assemblies to ensure cost-effective production and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to optimize workflows and production schedules.
- Evaluate machinery and equipment usage to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Maintain the standard time database and analyze data on production performance, efficiency, and cost metrics.
- Apply industrial engineering techniques to improve manufacturing processes and lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and workshops.
- Use data-driven decision-making to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Basic level of relevant work experience required.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and simulation software is an advantage.
