Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation? Do you have a proven track record of delivering results-driven business development strategies? We're seeking a talented Business Development Director to join our team at Walker Morris LLP.

As a Business Development Director, you'll play a key role in leading and executing our business development strategy, driving growth and innovation across the firm. You'll work closely with our Senior Operations Team and sector heads to bring ambitious business plans to life, leveraging your expertise to deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Align business development activities with the firm's business goals, focusing on growth and client satisfaction.
  2. Lead business development and pipeline management strategies to secure work from existing clients, prospects, and long-term targets.
  3. Drive collaboration across legal departments for cross-selling and referral opportunities.
  4. Build the firm's brand and develop impactful marketing campaigns, prioritising sectors and projects to ensure maximum ROI.
  5. Own the business development budget and be responsible for optimising team structure and resource allocation to achieve strategic goals.
  6. Promote a high-performance, client-focused and collaborative culture within the business development team.
  7. Mentor and develop the business development team with clear objectives and career development plans.
  8. Implement data-backed decision-making and process improvements through accurate reporting and CRM insights.
What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director with a strong track record of delivering results-driven business development strategies. You'll have a proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver impactful, persuasive and meaningful outputs.

Benefits:
  1. Salary reflective of your experience, circa. £100,000+.
  2. Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.

  6. Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days per year.

  8. 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
  9. Hybrid working with at least 2 or 3 days in the office per week.
