About the Role:

A newly created corporate governance and company secretarial role, reporting directly into the Group General Counsel. You will act as the Company Secretary for all the c. 40 UK entities, encompassing corporate governance and compliance matters, maintaining statutory records, board meeting minutes, and providing governance support in relation to corporate transactions. Further, you will support in Know Your Customer (KYC) and bank account opening matters, working within the legal department that is a shared service across the group. This is a remote working role, save for the necessary attendance at Board and committee meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Company Secretary for all the c. 40 UK entities
  • Encompass corporate governance and compliance matters
  • Maintain statutory records
  • Minute board meetings
  • Provide governance support in corporate transactions
  • Support in KYC and bank account opening matters
  • Attend Board and committee meetings

Qualifications:

You will be an experienced corporate governance professional with demonstrable and sustained experience in company secretarial matters. Ideally, you will have completed a recognized qualification in corporate governance and have an excellent track record of maintaining statutory records, completing filings, and taking Board meeting minutes. You will have strong academics and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
