Ormiston Families is seeking a qualified counsellor to join our team of mental health professionals. As a counsellor, you will work with children and young people aged 5-13, providing short-term therapeutic interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide face-to-face and online counselling sessions to children and young people.
- Work as part of a supportive team, receiving clinical supervision and training opportunities.
- Develop high-quality trainee counsellor placements and contribute to the 'Single Sessions Thinking' model.
Requirements:
- Qualified counsellor with BACP registration.
- Significant post-qualification experience working with children and young people aged 5-12.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and commitment to keeping children safe.
What We Offer:
- Permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) position.
- Salary - Circa £30,000 per annum.
