**Job Title:** Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kinetic PLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment, and providing technical support to our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance activities to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Carry out emergency repairs and maintenance tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement best practices for maintenance and repair activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance staff.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, such as NVQ, BTEC, HNC, or HND.
  • Proven experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and management.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong focus on safety and risk management.
