About the Role

Savills Management Resources is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various assets to ensure statutory compliance and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out and assist with planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various assets as instructed by the management team and specified on the CAFM application.
  • Assist the Centre Management team in maintaining and promoting a positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and adopting all company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out and accurately document legionella water temperature monitoring at Merry Hill and associated properties as detailed in the water management plan.
  • Liaise and work with specialist contractors as instructed by the Centre Management team.
  • Assist in the preparation and gathering of asset information.
  • Carry out and accurately document utility meter readings at Merry Hill and associated properties.
  • Visual and functionality of safety systems, including fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke curtains.
  • Ensure all contractors are working to Merry Hill guidelines and working safely within the centre.
  • Be available to cover the centre out of trading hours on a rota basis.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance in building services skill sets or proficient in DIY.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise, respond, and adopt a positive approach to all allocated tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Process good work ethics.
